We began in 1998 in a former Chinese restaurant space in Fondren as a screen print shop, retail store for Chane tee designs and a skate shop. At that point, everything was in one really small location and we had no idea what to expect since being in business was a new thing alltogether. We printed tee shirts for local companies in between selling folks shoes and building skateboards for kids and local scene makers.  

Studio Chane broke away from our retail concept in 2000 when it moved to the location where the Station Pizzeria in Fondren is now. As more growth was starting to happen, Studio then moved to 2 different Fondren locations and even back to the center where it all started and eventually to the current location on State Street in the St. Luke’s Building. 

Studio Chane came about because we wanted to control the quality of our tees. We had not had much luck with other printers and figured we would give it a shot. The original goal was to print for the general public for 2-5 years and then just print for our own line. Both the line of tees and the custom screen print grew at the same pace, so, 26 years later Studio Chane has become a staple of Jackson for those who want very personalized customer service and a guaranteed turnaround. Studio Chane works with a lot of local tee designers because we are one. Studio Chane also offers other services in their efforts to be a 1-stop shop for our customers - Embroidery, stickers, banners, business cards, sublimation, advertising specialty items, etc.  

And yes, Studio Chane still produces 100% of the Project Chane tee shirts.
