On Dunk Releases:
We truly can’t say thank you enough for all the support you have given us over the years. Our goal has always been to bring you product that is unique and won’t be seen on everyone else’s feet. We’ve done this through many brands over the years and will welcome 2 more this Fall/Holiday.
Veja will be joining us this coming September. Veja has been creating sneakers in a different way size 2005, mixing social projects, economic justice, and ecological materials. They are a high quality shoe that feels good and you can feel good about wearing. We will also welcome back Adidas Skateboarding as they are seeking to get back into more shops and regrow the line after the struggles t faced during the Covid pandemic.
We have also tried to bring you the best deals possible on everything you see in the store by sticking to the MSRP (Market Suggested Retail Price) that is handed down by the companies and do not add anything to that and by offering great deals like our “Buy 2, Get 1 Free Deal” on sale shoes. Don’t forget about our occasional “Email Love” blasts that go out to those of you on the email list that gives you 40% off in the store.
On the matter of Nike SB Dunk Releases it has been decided that going forward, we will not be answering the phone for the first two hours after a First Come, First Serve drop and will be additionally staffing the store to prevent people from sending in random passerbys to purchase extra shoes for them to sell at a profit. In the official Nike North America Product Launch Policy it states that we must “distribute Launch Products through an orderly process that avoids marketplace disruption, inventory diversion, and reseller profiteering.” We are to only sell Nike SB to customers for their own personal use. This is a big reason we have the policies in place that we do. Most of which are handed down by Nike themselves to help control the issue. Like many other shoe lines, Nike has an online watch team that identifies a specific area's known resellers and will provide their dealers with this information to get more shoes to those who wear them vs. resell them.
We feel we have done a good job of this in the past, but will always have to tighten up any loose ends that emerge as the game changes and people come up with new ways to try and cheat the system.
Finally, we want everyone to be able to get a pair of the shoes they want, but often the demand outweighs the supply and we just can’t make it happen. We always handle our releases with the upmost integrity and fairness. Employees and friends do not have any advantage over anyone else. One thing that reduces your chances down to absolute ZERO is being mean or aggressive with our staff. We do have the right to refuse to sell products to anyone who comes at us with an attitude or makes us feel threatened. In the end these are still just shoes, no matter what the hype behind them is. Shoes are not worth physical or verbal abuse.
Thank you all again and we can’t wait to keep on serving you with the best, most unique shoe game in the State of Mississippi.
Wish you the best,
Swell-O-Phonic
